Welcome to Phoenix Family Solutions Ltd. We are a family run legal and mediation practice based in Hertfordshire and have been established since February 2022.
David and Deborah set up Phoenix after having many years’ experience within the legal environment in both family law and law enforcement professions.
As a Specialist Family Lawyer, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (F.CILEx), and an Accredited Family Mediator my passion lays with supporting families and helping them to resolve difficulties arising from relationship breakdown and separation issues. My family work is wide-ranging and covers all issues arising from divorce and separation including financial and child arrangements. I have experience working within various disciplines of law since 1984, specialised in Family Law since 2003, and Family Mediation since 2009. My particular focus is on helping clients explore alternative methods of finding solutions. I qualified as an Accredited Family Mediator in 2010 and a Child Inclusive Mediator in 2012. As a Member of Resolution I am committed to their guidelines which aim to foster a non-confrontational approach and resolve cases as amicably, fairly and cost-effectively as possible.

I am an Owner and Director of Phoenix Family Solutions Ltd. Following my decision to take early retirement from the Police force I chose to turn my skills towards supporting the development and growth of Phoenix. As a long serving Police Detective, I have had many exciting opportunities to gain invaluable insight and experiences in many different areas. Since qualifying as a Family Mediator in 2022, I have been developing my Family Mediation Practice within Phoenix Family Solutions and the administration and running of the company. In addition, I qualified in 2016 as an Accredited Civil Mediator.
